The agreement for purchasing three Jamaican state-owned sugar factories and leasing 30,000 hectares of lands is officially signed on July 30th, 2010, at Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica. The Prime Minister of the Jamaican government Bruce Golding attended the signing ceremony and signed the agreement for sale and purchase of the sugar factories on behalf of the Jamaican side.
