On Dec 8th, a donation with the theme of "humanity, fraternity and responsibility" was held in Jinka city located in SNNP in Ethiopia. COMPLANT donated 650,000 BIRR(200,000 RMB) to Jinka Red Cross to improve local medical treatment by purchasing more ambulances.

President Gu Haitao delivered a speech in the ceremony, saying that the donation conveyed our true friendship and hearty thanks for their support. KESEM Sugar Factory has already produced white sugar benefiting Ethiopians. The other two factories in the OMO River area will run next year with daily extracting capacity of 12,000 tons sugar cane. The three projects will offer more jobs and bring more economic benefits to the Ethiopian government and people.
